4. Mechanism of Action

5. Concerns
- Increases blood pressure.
- Tolerance develops within 1-3 days. Partially lost in as little as 12h.

- Passes through the placenta, amniotic fluid, fetus, and into breast milk.
- FDA/European Food Safety Authority recommends less than 400 mg daily.
